Well-kept natural stone walls which were built centuries ago, characterize the landscape in Isarco Valley and allow for viticulture on the steep slopes. The cooler climate prevalent at high altitudes of up to 1000 metres above sea level allows us to produce wines full of character and of outstanding quality. 

葡萄树的根系深入到贫瘠的土壤中，吸收宝贵的矿物营养。这里的土壤由石英辉绿岩、闪长岩和火山斑岩交替组成。各种土壤、大量的阳光和良好的降水分布有助于这里的葡萄酒形成广泛的香气。靠近多洛米蒂山造成的强烈温度波动也发挥了作用。

The vine's roots work their way deep into the barren soil, absorbing precious mineral nutrients. The soil consists alternately of quartz phyllite, diorite and volcanic porphyry. The so-called "Klausenit" is a unique diorite formation found around the Sabiona Monastery near Chiusa.The variety of soils, large amounts of sunlight and good distribution of rainfall help our wines develop a wide spectrum of aromas. The strong temperature fluctuations caused by the proximity to the Dolomites also do their part.

大峡谷艾萨克酒庄是上阿迪杰最年轻的酿酒合作社，由24位葡萄种植者在1961年成立。今天，有135个葡萄种植者将他们优质的葡萄委托给我们经验丰富的酿酒师。年产量约950,000瓶，其中98%是白葡萄酒。

Cantina Valle Isarco is Alto Adige's youngest winemaking cooperative and was founded by 24 winegrowers in 1961. Today 135 winegrowers deliver their grapes and entrust them to our experienced winemaker. About 950.000 bottles are produced per year, of which 98% are white wines.
