博览馆总经理当选国际展览业协会UFI理事会成员及亚太区副主席

沈阳，中国 - 2023年10月30日 - 沈阳新世界博览馆董事总经理陈倩女士当选为国际展览业协会UFI理事会成员及亚太地区副主席，将于2023年11月1日在美国内华达州拉斯维加斯举行的UFI全球会员大会之后开始3年的任期。

陈倩女士亦担任沈阳新世界博览馆管理有限公司董事会董事，该公司管理和运营沈阳新世界博览馆（博览馆），博览馆是中国东北最先进的展览和会议场馆。九年来，她一直活跃在UFI的活动，积极支持UFI作为协会的使命并协助推动其在中国的发展项目。

UFI是一个全球领先的协会组织，聚集全球贸易展会主办方、展览场馆运营专业公司、国家及国际级大型展览协会以及精选的全球展会合作伙伴。UFI以代表、促进和支持其成员乃至整个展览业的商业利益为主要目标。UFI是全球约 50,000 名展会工作人员的直接代表并与60个国家和地区协会成员保持密切合作。目前UFI有超过820个成员组织，遍布全球85+个国家和地区。大约有1,000个国际贸易展会自豪地拥有UFI认证，这对参观者和参展商而言都是一种质量的保证。

UFI亚太地区领导人由四名主席和副主席组成；每三年举行一次选举。在这个过程中，会员们会选举出新一轮有全球性的代表，其被选举者来自世界各地的UFI分会。理事会的任务是执行全体会员大会做出的决定、制定UFI政策以及准备与国际贸易展览相关的所有建议。经过充分准备，这些建议将在年度全体会员大会上提交给UFI会员进行投票。

(Shenyang, 30 October 2023) – Ms. Diane Chen, General Manager of the Shenyang New World EXPO, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors and Vice-Chair of Asia-Pacific Chapter of UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. The 3-year mandate will begin after the association’s annual General Assembly which will be held ahead of UFI’s Global Congress on the 1st of November 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA).

Ms. Chen is also a member of the Board of Shenyang New World EXPO (Management) Ltd. that manages and operates EXPO, the premier and most state-of-the-art exhibition and meeting venue in Northeast China. She has been active in UFI for nine years, supporting the association’s mission and driving its development programs within China.

UFI is the global trade association of the world’s tradeshow organisers and exhibition centre operators, as well as the major national and international exhibition associations, and selected partners of the exhibition industry. UFI’s main goal is to represent, promote and support the business interests of its members and the exhibition industry. UFI directly represents more than 50,000 exhibition industry employees globally, and also works closely with its 60 national and regional association members. More than 820 member organisations in 85+ countries around the world are presently signed up as members. Around 1,000 international trade fairs proudly bear the UFI-approved label, a quality guarantee for visitors and exhibitors alike.

UFI’s Asia-Pacific Chapter Leadership is comprised of 4 Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons; elections take place every three years. During this process, the members elect a truly global body with representatives from UFI chapters around the world. The Board of Directors is tasked with implementing decisions taken by the General Assembly, developing UFI policy and preparing all proposals related to matters affecting international trade fairs. After thorough preparation, these proposals are submitted for vote to UFI members at the annual General Assembly.
