Manufacturers, designers, technical experts, architects, exhibition stand builders, and even carpenters, upholsterers, interior stylists, decorators, buyers, furniture makers and dealers: all of these insiders assemble once a year to share with audiences all over the world the amazing stories of the objects that have amped up the places we live in since 1961.

In this video, the Salone talks about the values underpinning its community, who see the show as an opportunity to reveal the outcome of a year’s worth of unflagging efforts by designers and brands. 

The Salone is arguably a celebration of this moment, where everyone comes together. These images portray the way the Salone and its exhibitors open their doors to those wishing to join the design community and become part of an creative international community that shares the same love of all that is beautiful and well-crafted. 

The event unites the voices that speak the language of design in an ode to this marvelously unique world. In the spirit of ever-greater openness to exchange and the circulation of ideas, culture and creativity, Salone collaborated once again with the Teatro alla Scala Foundation.

The ties between Salone del Mobile.Milano and Teatro alla Scala Foundation are founded on a desire to share common values, with the dual aim of promoting and valorising the talent of the Philharmonic Orchestra and providing an opportunity for the design community to enjoy a unique experience. 

Salone collaborated once again with the concert by the Philharmonic conducted by Lorenzo Viotti, followed by a ballet starring the extraordinary Roberto Bolle.
